Waste transport is subject to very strict European and domestic legislation. European legislation is based on the Basel Convention, which has been incorporated in the Hungarian Waste Management Act (HGT), and therefore Hungarian legislation is virtually equivalent to European regulation. As a consequence, a waste shipment permit is required for all classified and listed waste. Waste management complies with European specifications for waste under various EWC (European Waste Catalogue) codes, so any waste can only be shipped if the code is included in the shipping permit. Our company has a lot of code-shipped products, but before these orders, these classifications must be agreed upon. To do so, the shipment of waste containing special hazardous waste can be assigned to the shipment permit for which it has to be licensed. Our company has this license, but with limits.
